EDIF is entitled by law to recover all the monies it has paid in the form of deposit payout. Accordingly

• The Fund recovers all the monies it has paid to insured depositors of a failed financial institution upon the liquidation of the institution; and
• The Fund shall assume the depositors’ place in priority schedule and recover all monies up to the amount it has paid to the depositors of the failed institution.
